Did you notice that I used the Sending Love Notes Hugs to stamp my images and words on?  I have found these very useful to make a quick card!  No measuring or cutting.  I'm not sure if this product will make the Idea Book and Catalog on July 1, so I decided to order a bunch!

Island Oasis Designer Specialty Paper

Here's a Sneak Peak of the Island Oasis Designer Specialty Paper!!  It's beautiful and I'm sure I'll be using it all summer!  It coordinates with all the items on pages 26 and 27 of the Summer Mini.  Check out my blog post from yesterday for all the coordinating products.  That's one of the reasons I LOVE Stampin' Up! because everything matches--stamp sets, inks, card stock, designer series paper, and embellishments! Island Oasis Favor Boxes

These Island Oasis Favor Boxes (#117178) are too stinkin' cute!! Make plans to treat your summer guests to an extra special treat with these die-cut, pre-scored boxes.  Each box has a coordinating die-cut belly band to embellish these adorable little boxes. Mother's Day/Awash with Flowers Card

What do you think of the New Core Colors?

Here's another card and Big Shot Bitty Box using the New Core Colors that will be available beginning July 1st.  One of the nice perks of being a Stampin' UP! Demonstrator is getting to preview and purchase product a month before everybody else! I'm using the Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight on the card and the Bitty Box is assembled in Cajun Craze and embellished with the Daffodil Delight scallop.  I would love to know what my readers think of the New Core Colors.  Feel free to leave me a comment. A Fond Farewell to Green Galore and Gable Green

Here's another color combo--Green Galore and Gable Green--that we'll say good-bye to at the end of June. I decided to put these colors together to create this adorable little Matchbox that I made with the Sizzix Big Shot in just a few easy turns.  The box bottom is easy to assemble and doesn't require any adhesive! The top only needs one strip of Sticky Strip to form the top. The die also includes three coordinating gift tags! The Matchbox Messages stamp set was designed to complement the assembled Matchbox.  Remember to stock up on your favorite colors before we bid a fond farewell.

Simply Adorned

Good Morning Ladies!  I have the BEST news!  My computer is finally fixed and I picked it up yesterday.  What a relief it is to have my laptop back in operation. I can finally "do business" on MY computer!!  

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the Stampin' Up!'s Simply Adorned Charms and Chains, so I wanted to share mine with you.  You can find the Simply Adorned products in the Occasions Mini on page 28.  The Simply Adorned nickel-plated charms have a tempered glass on front and back and a lobster clasp.  The locket-style charm with hinge lets you insert custom artwork or photos.  It comes packaged in a gift box.

You can add your personal touch to our stainless steel bracelets and chains.  Our 8" bracelet and 24" and 34" chains have a toggle clasp and Stampin' Up! charm identifier.

Stampin' Up!'s New Color Renovation

You may have already heard the exciting news about Stampin' Up!'s New Color Renovation.  It was announced last week when I was on spring break. Stampin' Up! has spent the last two years researching our color families and trends in the home decor and craft industry. They have decided to retire some of the original colors, bring back some of our former In Colors, and add some new colors.  Stampin' Up! will release 5 Brand New Colors and bring back 10 of the retired In Colors!!  On July 1st, We will see 4 new Color Collections with the release of the 2010 Idea Book and Catalog. All of this is so exciting!!  On the chart listed below you'll see the New Colors, Returning In Colors, and the Carryover Colors. 

 

The New Color Collections (pictured below) combine current colors with previous In Colors, and five new colors.  These luscious collections give you new and vibrant choices, keeping your papercrafting passion original and exciting.

Now that you've seen the new color collections, you probably have a favorite color--or several--that you're sad to see go.  If so, plan to stock up now on ink, marker, paper, and embellishments before they're all gone.  The chart below shows which colors we will bid a fond farewell to at the end of June 2010!

At Stampin' Up!, color is a part of our identity.  It's fundamental to our ability to create and be creative. That also means that it's important for us to be able to stay up-to-date with the trends in color to keep our artwork fresh!  I hope you're as excited as I am about the Color Renovation.  We'll be mixing and matching with an updated color palette and creating NEW color combinations that will give cards and projects a refreshing look!
