A Video Tutorial on Creating a Paper Pinwheel

Pinwheel Tips & Tidbits

• The pinwheel created in the video was made using a 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" square.  You can make a pinwheel of any size by decreasing or increasing the size of the square!  Give it a try using various sizes of square cardstock or designer paper!  It's fun!
• Use various items for the "pole" of the pinwheel--lollipop stick, popsicle stick, 1" x 8" Cello Bags

A Pinwheel Card

Pinwheels seem to be all the rage right now!  I created this pinwheel out of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (#125409) and attached it to the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack (#117155).  Then, I mounted it onto a card base!  Be sure to stop by tomorrow...I'm preparing a How-to Video on creating Pinwheels!

Storing your Big Shot Framelits and Edgelits

Stampin' Up! has introduced us to so many wonderful Big Shot products since they introduced the Sizzix Big Shot!  I'm always looking for ways to organize and store the many versatile pieces that we use with this awesome machine.  Today's video will show you how I'm starting to organize and store my Big Shot Framelits and Edgelits. 

 

In today's video...I used a magnetic sheet that Stampin' Up! carried in the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog.  Unfortunately, Stampin' Up! no longer carries the magnetic sheets.  I have found an alternative product that works in the very same way.  The product is called Magnetic Vent Covers and you can find them in your local hardware store.  Each cover measures 8" x 15" and a a package of 3 costs $4.95.  This product does not have the peel-away adhesive that is shown in the video.  Instead...use the Tombow Multipurpose Glue on both sides of the magnetic sheet.
