July Paper Pumpkin Kit

Friday's post included details on the July Paper Pumpkin Kit.  You may want to scroll down for additional information on this month's My Paper Pumpkin.  I've included pictures below of additional ideas to try with this month's kit!  Remember...click on the photo to enlarge for my details. 

You'll notice that these cards are smaller than the standard size card.  I placed the standard card  (along the 5 1/2" side) in my Stampin' Trimmer and cut it down the center at 2 3/4".  This gave me 2 cards each measuring 2 3/4" x 4 1/4".

Again, I placed the standard card  (along the 5 1/2" side) in my Stampin' Trimmer and cut it down the center at 2 3/4".  This gave me 2 cards measuring 2 3/4" x 4 1/4".  Then, I rotated each card 90 degrees and trimmed it at 2 3/4".  This gave me 2  (2 3/4" x 2 3/4") square cards!

Notice the square box in the background...I cut off the top and side flaps and tied satin ribbon around the middle of the box.  The notecards fit quite nicely inside!

This month's My Paper Pumpkin is filled with...8 card bases, 8 pre-scored boxes, photopolymer stamp set, Blackberry Bliss ink spot, tags, Whisper White satin ribbon, Whisper White baker's twine, 2 full sheets of star and heart stickers, and a full sheet of silver foil stars.  I had plenty of supplies left over after creating all the projects!

Convention 2014 Pillow Gifts

One of the highlights of convention is making pillow gifts for our roommates and close friends! Pictured below are several goodies that I created. 

I used the NEW Gift Card Enclosures (#136662/pkg. of 10) and embossed it with the Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder (#133740), Lost Lagoon Satin Ribbon, and 2014-2016 In Color Clothespins (#133630).  I used the Tag Talk Stamp Set (wood #134249, clear #134252) inked in Tangelo Twist and the 1" square logo Inspire, Create, Share which is part of the Convention 2014 MDS download.

 

My second Pillow Gift included convention themed Mini Muslin Bags (#132180/pkg. of 8).  Again, I used the Convention 2014 MDS download...enlarged the graphic...printed it onto iron-on transfer paper...and ironed the logo on the bags.

I filled the mini muslin bags with Ghiradelli Chocolates wrapped in the convention logo and Hershey Nugget Bars wrapped in 2014-1016 In Color Designer Paper.

Seasonally Scattered Takeout Box & New Weekly Deals

Here's another Convention Make & Take!  I know you'll love looking at this project because it features a ton of NEW product from the upcoming Holiday Catalog.

Convention 2014 Highlights

I'm back from the 2014 Stampin' Up!
