Sheltering Tree Card with a Perforated Book Mark

Our second Hostess Club Project features a Sheltering Tree Card with a perforated bookmark!  That's right...a card and a thoughtful little gift!  The bookmark can be torn off without tearing the card or bookmark!  I'll teach you how to use the Perforating Cutting Blade on your Stampin' Trimmer to create this little number!  A cool technique! I decided to use the 2013-2015 In-Colors (Pistachio Pudding and Strawberry Slush) one more time.  I'll certainly miss these luscious pastel colors. Have you stocked up on your In-Colors?  Only a few more weeks left to grab these colors.

🐝There are several stamping techniques associated with this card...Two-step stamping, paper piercing, cutting and scoring, using the tree top image as a background stamp, and using the opposite side of the tree top image to create a solid stamped background.

Father's Day Card Created with the Mini Treat Bag Die!

Here's our first Hostess Club Project for this month.  We'll create a masculine shirt card using the 2014-16 In Color Designer Paper Stack (retiring #133705) and Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies (#137547).  This card will make a perfect Father's Day card!  Just sayin'!  How about a Sneak Peak?

Painted Petals and Painted Blooms Designer Paper

I got a BIG surprise in the mail on Friday!  My dear friend and fellow demonstrator, Liz Haddon, sent me an assortment of beautiful cards that she made. How sweet is that?

In today's card Liz has stamped flowers in Pacific Point and stems in Wild Wasabi.  The lighter blossoms are "stamped off" before stamping on Whisper White cardstock.  The background is Painted Blooms Designer Paper with a Wild Wasabi card base.  I hope Painted Blooms makes the new catalog!  Both of these products can be found in the 2015 Occasions Catalog. 2015 Stampin' Up! Hawaii Incentive Trip

It's here...in true Stampin' Up! style!  I've been waiting impatiently (for the last week) for UPS to deliver the Hawaii incentive trip package!  It arrived in a beautiful burlap zippered pouch...luggage tags, name tags, flight itinerary, and a darling book of our daily itinerary during our stay.  Did I mention an ocean front room and late check-out on the last day?  I've included a few more pictures, so that you can see how every little detail is perfectly coordinated!

 

🌴When I opened the much anticipated package...I was reminded of my amazing customers.  I know I wouldn't be going without their support!  Thank you Ladies!

🌴We will be leaving two weeks from today...My husband and I decided to extend the first part of our trip.  We arrive in Maui on a Thursday and fly to Oahu on the following Tuesday.  We'll join the Stampin' Up! folks at that point and stay at the Waikiki Sheraton until Sunday.

Creating Simple Cards with the Painted Blooms Designer Paper

It's never been easier or faster to create 6 cards!  I used one 12 x 12 sheet of Painted Blooms Designer Paper and my Stampin' Trimmer to cut 6 card fronts at 4" x 5 1/4"!  Grab some coordinating cardstock and cut a card base to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".

Adventure Awaits Card

I finally had the opportunity to play with the Adventure Awaits Stamp Set (available in photopolymer only #137148).  I know how hard it can be to create a masculine card and you'll find that this set fits the bill!  The card base is Coastal Cabana with a layer of Sea Street Designer Paper (#133696).  The stamped image is inked in Night of Navy with a splash of Real Red cardstock.  This will be one of the stamp camp cards for this month.

 

April Stamp Camp is scheduled for next Sunday, April 26, 1:30-5:00 pm...We'll be making 8 all-occasion cards.  We'll be making the card above!  Please RSVP by Thursday, April 23rd.  Class Fee:  $27
