Forever Fern Bundle and Forever Greenery Designer Paper

Today's Forever Fern Card showcases just one of the beautiful papers that are part of the Forever Greenery Designer Paper!  You'll find images in a glorious array of green hues...Garden Green, Just Jade, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, and Soft Sea Foam.

On one side of the 12 x 12 paper, it's elegant greenery with painted watercolor patterns that will give your projects an organic feel.  On the opposite side of each sheet, it's large, leafy designs.  This paper crafting staple is great for card making and scrapbooking!

A Little Bit About My Card--This one is easy to put together in no time at all!  I started with a Whisper White Thick Cardstock Base.  I used Stampin' Seal to adhere the designer paper to the Pretty Peacock Cardstock.  I used the Forever Flourishing Dies to die-cut the leaves in Garden Green and a Brass Foil Sheet.  The circles (Shaded Spruce and Whisper White Cardstock) are die-cut using the Layering Circles dies.  The Shaded Spruce inked greeting is from the Forever Fern Stamp Set.

Case-ing the NEW Catalog--Forever Greenery Suite

It's Monday and that means I'm case-ing the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog today!  I'm featuring the Forever Greenery Suite this week...right here on my blog! 

The Forever Greenery Suite Collection by Stampin' Up! features watercolor patterns and images in a glorious array of green hues...Garden Green, Just Jade, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, and Soft Sea Foam. 

This suite is the complete package with the Forever Fern Stamp Set and coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies, designer paper, gold specialty paper, ribbon and hoop embellishments, and two embossing folders!  Everything you need to create gorgeous cards!  By the way, you can find this amazing suite of products in the annual catalog on pages 108-110!

A Little Bit About My Card--The Forever Greenery DSP covers the Whisper White Thick Cardbase.   The Whisper White cardstock layer is embossed using one of the Greenery Embossing Folders, and "popped up" using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The Gold Hoop Embellishment is attached to the layer using about 3" of ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack. 

The Gold Hoop is embellished with one of the ornamental elements from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.  It's attached using Mini Glue Dots.  I've inked the leaf images in Garden Green Ink, stamped onto Whisper White Cardstock, and cut using the Forever Flourishing Dies.  They, too, are attached using Mini Glue Dots.  The "Hello" is stamped in Garden Green Ink onto Soft Sea Foam Cardstock.  It's cut using the banner from Tasteful Labels Dies and "popped up" using Stampin' Dimesionals.

Facebook Live Replay (6/24/20)--Jar of Flowers Bundle and Mason Jar Shaker Dome Tips

The video tutorial below is my Facebook Live Presentation from Wednesday, June 24, 2020. You'll learn how to create four different cards using products from the Flowers for Every Season Suite...Jar of Flowers Stamp Set and coordinating Jar Punch. 

Quick Tips for Jar of Flowers Cards:

• Stamping--Ink the "stems" and stamp under the rim of the jar.
• Use light Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blend to color the jar.  It will resemble an antique mason jar.
• Use light Pool Party Stampin' Blend to add "water" to the jar.
• Use the reverse side of the small mason jar, ink in Pool Party Ink and "stamp-off"; Then, stamp inside the mason jar.  It, too, resembles water.
• Use hand sanitizer or hair gel (Don't forget the window sheet!) to fill the mason jars with "water".
• Jar Fillers:  Mini M&M's, small flower seeds, sunflower seeds, potpourri, sequins, and Flowers For Every Season gems!

Quick and Easy Jar Of Flowers Card

Today's Jar of Flowers Card is very similar to my other cards this week!  You'll notice a few changes. The Flowers For Every Season DSP covers the Whisper White card layer and adhered to a Just Jade card base.   The Whisper White layer adheres to the Just Jade cardstock layer and popped-up on Stampin' Dimensionals. 

I inked the jar image in Black Memento Ink and stamped it on a 2" x 3"  piece of Whisper White cardstock. I also inked the stems in Black Memento Ink and colored stems using Soft Suede Stampin' Blends. 

Quick Tip for Stamping the Stems--Be sure to stamp the stems under the jar rim.  I used Light Pool Party Stampin' Blend to color the bottom part of the jar to resemble water.

Quick Tip for Mason Jar Shaker Domes--There is a sticky adhesive on both sides of the plastic jar shaped dome.  First, peel off the top adhesive layer and adhere to the back of the Whisper White cardstock layer. Place some of the gems on top of the stamped jar and position the jar dome over the stamped jar (2" x 3" piece) and adhere.

I inked the flowers in Black Memento Ink as well and stamped it at the top of the Whisper White cardstock layer.  I punched out the jar shape (right under the flowers) using the NEW Jar Punch.  I used the NEW Stampin' Blends to color the flowers...Just Jade, Magenta Madness, and Misty Moonlight.; and Mango Melody for the flower centers.  The jar is embellished with the Flowers for Every Season Just Jade Gingham Ribbon.  I did add the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, so the flowers would glisten a bit!

Additional Measurements--

Just Jade Cardstock:  4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Whisper White Card Layer:  4" x 5 1/4"

Flowers For Every Season Designer Paper:  3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

Just Jade Cardstock Layer:  3 5/8" x 4 5/8"

Jar of Flowers Bundle

Today's Jar of Flowers Card is very much like yesterday's card!  You'll notice a few changes. I inked the jar image in Black Memento Ink and stamped it on Misty Moonlight cardstock.  I punched out jar using the NEW Jar Punch; and I used Stampin' Dimensionals and popped it up on the Whisper White cardstock.  I inked the flowers in Black Memento Ink as well and stamped it on Whisper White cardstock.  I did "fussy-cut" the image and popped it with Stampin' Dimensionals above the jar.

Celebrate Sunflowers with Clear Embossing Technique

A Little Bit About My Monochromatic Cards--

I love creating monochromatic cards when the new in-colors are introduced each year!  The inspiration for these cards is by a fellow demonstrator, Carolina Evans.  These cards are created with the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set.  The large sunflower image is inked in VersaMark Ink and heated with Clear Embossing Powder.  The sunflower in the center is cut using the Sunflowers Dies in Vellum Cardstock and popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. 

Let's Celebrate is also inked in VersaMark Ink and heated with Clear Embossing Powder.  The Let's Celebrate banner is created using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.  I 've been waiting a few years for a punch like this one.  You can create banners in 3 different sizes (3/4", 1", and 1 1/2") with six different edges!!  A must-have for all paper crafters!
