Good Morning Stampers! One of the many perks of becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is receiving Stampin' Up!'s monthly magazine, Stampin' Success.  I eagerly anticipate its arrival in my mailbox each month!  It's filled with wonderful business tips, demonstrator promotions, and tons of creative ideas for making cards, scrapbook pages, and 3D items.  It's the BEST!!  In today's post, I'm sharing a card that was in the Feburary 2011 issue of Stampin' Success. A Bushel of Cherries Card Recipe

Stamp Set:  Create a Cupcake (wood mount #121915, clear mount #121982), Woodgrain Background stamp (#117100)

Ink:  Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Stampin' Write Markers--Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive

Paper:  Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Whisper White

Embellishments:  Mini Library Clips (#109857), Linen Thread (#104199)

Adhesives:  SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals

Punches:  Dotted Scallop Ribbon (#119275), Build a Cupcake Punch (#121807)

Tips & Tidbits

• When using a background stamp, turn it over so the rubber is facing you.  Open the ink pad, and rub the ink pad over the stamp to "ink" it.  Much easier that way.:)
• Use the Stampin' Write Markers to color the cherries.  Stamp and Punch several out using the Build a Cupcake Punch.  Use Stampin' Dimensionals on a few of them to create a 3D effect.

Tips & Tidbits for using the

• Before you stamp, look at the bottom of the punch to evaluate the best way to stamp the images on your paper.  Keep in mind surrounding space which will punch out at the same time, and space your stamped images to allow for the punch to finish its action without punching through other images.
• Because each stamped piece will be punched out individually, we suggest stamping along the edge of a piece of paper so it's easy to reach each image with your punch.

Create a Cupcake

Good Morning Stampers!  I have a sweet treat of a card today!  I love Create a Cupcake stamp set.  It has several birthday sentiments, little images to embellish a card, and a coordinating Build a Cupcake Punch! I know I'm not the only one who loves stamp sets and punches that compliment each other!  You can find this stamp set in the Occasions Mini on page 22.  Take a look at all 12 stamps that make up this set. This, too, is a Stamp Camp card for this weekend.

Stamp Set:  Create a Cupcake (wood mount #121915, clear mount #121982)

Ink:  Early Espresso, Certainly Celery, Blushing Bride

Paper:  Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride, Early Espresso

Adhesives:  SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, 2 way glue stick (#100425)

Punches:  Build a Cupcake Punch (#121807), 2 3/8" Scallop Circle (#118874), 1 3/8" Circle Large, Dotted Scallop Ribbon (#119275)

Big Shot:  Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (#117335)

Tips & Tidbits

• I punched a circle out using Blushing Bride card stock.  Then, I placed the circle in the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and ran it through the Big Shot.
• After using the the Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch on the Blushing Bride card stock, I used a 2-way glue pen to adhere the strip to the Very Vanilla card stock.  It's so much easier!!
• Stamping the cupcake:  I used the Early Espresso, and Certainly Celery ink and stamped the images on Very Vanilla card stock.
