This Little Piggy Graduation Card for Our Special Girl!

Yesterday was another celebratory day for our family!  Jacqueline, our other twin daughter, graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.

This Little Piggy Graduation Card is a Sneak Peak of a new photopolymer stamp set that will be featured in the 2017 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  As soon as I saw this happy pig, I knew it would be perfect for Jacqueline. 

When Jacqueline was a little girl, she LOVED pigs and collected all KINDS of pigs...figurines, pictures, and of course, stuffed animals.  Whenever she saw a pig, she had to have it!  Jacqueline even had a small stuffed animal pig that she slept with every night; affectionately know as "piggy".  The verse is so appropriate for her graduation...She knew She Could...So She Did!  How perfect for my little girl, who's not so little anymore!

She plans to attend Virginia Commonwealth University this fall--

in hopes of attending medical school in a year or two.

Easy to Make Graduation Card for Our Special Girl!

I've been in Graduation mode the past few days...creating special cards for our twin daughters that are graduating from college within a few days of each other.  Our daughter, Andrea, graduated from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia this past Saturday.  It had been raining A LOT in Virginia!  Fortunately, the rain stopped just prior to the ceremony, but it was a chilly 53 degrees.  I certainly was not prepared for the temperature!  The rain, chill, and muddy conditions didn't dampen our spirits!  It was truly an exciting day for all of us!

Andrea's graduation gown card was inspired by Debbie Henderson's (SU demonstrator) popular blog post.  It was super easy and quick to create, so if you're interested in making one, please let me know.  I can do a video tutorial.  I also created a special envelope for this card.  It's hard to envision the size of the grad card, but it needs a custom envelope!  When you open the card, you can add a note in the middle of the card (that's what I did) or create a gift card/money holder.

She's headed off to Case Western Reserve School of Law, (Cleveland, Ohio) in August.
