I hope you're enjoying the holiday weekend with family and friends. I want to share a little Memorial Day treat with you. I just can't resist Brilliant Blue with the Real Red color combo! Keep in mind, that Brilliant Blue is retiring at the end of June!
Memorial Day Treat Holder Recipe
Stamp Set: Halloween Frights (starry background--#111766)
Ink: Brilliant Blue
Paper: Brilliant Blue, Real Red
Embellishments: Real Red 1/2" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (#110714), Window Sheets Medium (#114323), Small Cellophane bag (#103104)
Adhesive: SNAIL
Punches: Large Star, Scallop Border
Directions for creating this treat holder:
1. Cut Brilliant Blue card stock to 3" wide x 9 3/4" long.
2. Score along the 9 3/4" side at 3 3/4", 4 3/4", 8 3/4".
3. Punch Large Star on the front of treat holder.
4. Cut Real Red card stock to 3" wide x 1/2" long. Use the Scallop Border punch to create the border. Use SNAIL adhesive to attach border to top of treat holder.
5. Use Small Cellophane Bag and fill with your favorite treat!
6. Tie the Red Grosgrain Ribbon around the top of the treat holder to secure it!
