Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day is this Sunday, so I'm busy creating my Mother's Day gifts!  I made this sweet purse with a coordinating card for my Wonderful Mom.  I also have a gift card (a day at the spa) to tuck down inside the purse.  I can't wait until she sees it!!  The purse pattern is from Becky Roberts 2010 Christmas Edition Tutorial. Becky has this tutorial for sale.  
 

I used the following Stampin' Up! supplies from the 2011 Occasions Mini (January-April): Easter Blossoms Stamp Set, Mother of Mine Stamp Set, Springtime Vintage DP, Vintage Flower Adornments, and Crumb Cake Seam Binding.  By the way, all the 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon has been carried over to this Occasions Mini.

Mother's Day Class for Kids

On Sunday, I held a Mother's Day Stamp Class for Kids.  I had four lovely young ladies stamp and create 6 cards (2 of each design), a bookmark, and gift tag.  The hand stamped items fit nicely inside the butterfly decorative can that was purchased from a big box store.  The girls were so proud of their creations.  The inspiration for this class came from the website www.mariestamps.com. Unfortunately, I have spent the last 30 minutes trying to find the exact card and I haven't had any luck. I apologize for not being able to provide the link.

Mother's Day is just around the Corner!

Good Morning everybody!  My laptop is in the repair shop this week and I should have it back by early next week.  Keep your fingers crossed!  The back light is out, which means my computer screen is totally black. I'm using my husband's laptop which runs much slower than mine. I have to remind myself to be patient! Other issues are...I'm not sure how to resize or watermark a picture!!  

I have a Mother's Day card to share with you today.  It's another card that my upline, Jean, taught us how to make in stamp class.
