A Video Tutorial on Creating a Paper Pinwheel

Pinwheel Tips & Tidbits

• The pinwheel created in the video was made using a 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" square.  You can make a pinwheel of any size by decreasing or increasing the size of the square!  Give it a try using various sizes of square cardstock or designer paper!  It's fun!
• Use various items for the "pole" of the pinwheel--lollipop stick, popsicle stick, 1" x 8" Cello Bags

A Pinwheel Card

Pinwheels seem to be all the rage right now!  I created this pinwheel out of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (#125409) and attached it to the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack (#117155).  Then, I mounted it onto a card base!  Be sure to stop by tomorrow...I'm preparing a How-to Video on creating Pinwheels!

Sunflower--A New Background Stamp

Stampin' Up! offers background stamps in a variety of sizes, styles, and patterns just right for your cards, scrapbook pages, and 3-D items. Today I'm using Sunflower, a brand-NEW background stamp! I used two sponge daubers, one to ink the petals in Rich Razzleberry and the the other inked in Old Olive for the flower center.  We had our downline meeting on Saturday and I made this card as my swap.  I had received this card as a swap at convention, but unfortunately, I don't know who to give credit.  Sorry, no name on the back of the card.
