Sense of Time

Here's a stamp set I haven't used much, but am sorry to say goodbye to!  Sense of Time is the perfect "go to" set for masculine birthdays and Father's Day.  It really is a must-have for creating a special card for the man in your life. Hostess Club ladies--This is another card we'll be stamping this weekend.  I look forward to seeing you Sunday!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Stampers!  I am happy to be posting today after taking a little time off to relax and enjoy the holidays with my family. Since it's a NEW year, I thought it would be most appropriate to show you a card that Jean (my upline) created using a Sense of Time stamp set.  This stamp set is found in Stampin' Up's! 2010-11 Idea Book & Catalog on page 127.  It's been in our product line for a little while, so it's only available in wood mount. 

Sense of Time Card Recipe

Stamp Sets:  Sense of Time (wood mount only #113804), Sincere Salutations (wood mount only #115068), Sanded Background Stamp (wood mount only #109294)

Ink:  Early Espresso

Paper:  Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper (#117163)

Embellishments:  Early Espresso 5/8" Satin Ribbon, gold brad, Frost White Shimmer Paint (#116854)

Adhesives:  SNAIL

Punches:  1/16" Handheld Punch (#101227), Decorative Label (#120907), Circle Scissors Plus (#112530), Glass Mat (#112531)

Tips & Tools

• Ink the Sanded background stamp in Early Espresso and apply to Crumb Cake card stock.  Ink the Cog Wheel stamp in Early Espresso and stamp background.
• Clock Face:  Ink in Early Espresso and stamp onto Very Vanilla card stock.  Cut out the clock face with scissors.

Take a small piece of clear wrap (I used Glad cling wrap.) and ball it up.  Dip the clear wrap in Frost White Shimmer Paint (#116854) and pat the inked images. Use the shimmer paint sparingly. Let images dry well before applying to card.
