Be Creative Tip of the Week--Labeling Big Shot Cutting Pads

My Be Creative Tip of the Week focuses on Labeling Standard Cutting Pads for the Big Shot.  As you have probably experienced in using cutting pads, framelits and thinlits dies will cut and scratch the pads; and eventually warp them and need replacing.  Once it begins to warp, it's difficult to roll embossing folders through the Big Shot.

Dragonfly Dreams Bundle

The Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set and Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies have many stamping possibilities!  I've listed several tips and tricks regarding this bundle under the video tutorial.

🐝Tip 1:  Four greetings in an awesome font!

 

🐝Tip 2:  The bee shape, dragonfly wings, dragonfly body, and spots are not solid images.  They resemble a watercolor finish.

 

🐝Tip 3:  The cluster of small dragonflies can be separated using paper snips.

 

🐝Tip 4:  Two Step Stamping--with the bee and dragonfly.

 

🐝Tip 5:  Detailed Dragonfly Dies include 3 dragonfly framelits...an outline of a dragonfly, small intricate dragonfly, and a larger intricate dragonfly!

 

🐝Tip 6:  "Dots" image provides interest and depth.

Window Shopping Stamp Set and Window Box Thinits Dies

The first Hostess Club Project features the Window Shopping Stamp Set and Window Box Thinlits Dies.  The stamp set images (available in wood or clear mount) coordinate beautifully with the window box and for creating hand stamped cards, too.  The dies coordinate beautifully to give the box a different look depending upon which dies you decide to use.  You'll learn a variety of ways to use both of these products together and separately.  You can bundle these two products and save 10%!

Balloon Adventures Stamp Set and Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies

As you can see from the photo above, I've been making cards (and a box) using the Balloon Adventures Stamp Set and Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies!  These two coordinating products are so awesome for creating birthday cards! 

You'll notice in the pictures below that I have embellished one of Stampin' Up!'s White Gift Boxes.  They are perfect for small gifts!  The white box includes an acetate sleeve, which is the part that I embellished.  Just slide the clear sleeve off the box and open to reveal the gift.

 

I had another stamping class in my new stamping studio on Saturday morning.  These lovely ladies attended so they could check out what "stampin" is all about!  Thank you for coming and I hope you'll come again soon.  You'll also notice another sneak peak at my new studio!
