My Be Creative Tip of the Week focuses on Labeling Standard Cutting Pads for the Big Shot. As you have probably experienced in using cutting pads, framelits and thinlits dies will cut and scratch the pads; and eventually warp them and need replacing. Once it begins to warp, it's difficult to roll embossing folders through the Big Shot.

My Be Creative Tip of the Week focuses on Organizing Stampin' Up! Framelits and Thinlits Dies. Both of these products cut cardstock, vellum, window sheets, and foil sheets. They add the perfect accent to any project! I sometimes wonder what we did before the Big Shot and it's coordinating embossing folders and die products! We've come along way in paper crafting and card making!

Discover 3 Tips for Organizing Framelits and Thinlits Dies!
Create a label for the framelit or thinlit die name plus the number of dies included in the set (in parenthesis); and attach to magnet card.
Cut the die shapes and adhere to the back of the magnet card.
Create a label and attach the paper dimensions to the actual die. This is a big time-saver when cutting your cardstock!
Magnet Cards are available from Stamp-N-Storage in several sizes. I love the durability of this product! One of my customers stores her stamp set and 5 x 7 magnet card in a standard Stampin' Up! Clear-Mount Case. Imagine storing your stamp set and dies together! Talk about organization!
I failed to mention in the video how I organize my dies. I alphabetized my magnet cards according to framelit or thinlit die name. I use the Stamp-N-Storage Wafer-Die Storage for storing my magnet sheets. There is also an option of ordering a box with cover.

My Be Creative Tip of the Week focuses on Stampin' Up! Embossing Folders! Stampin' Up! carries two types of embossing folders...Textured Impressions and 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions. Textured Impressionsmake clear, crisp impressions and 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions make extra deep, super crisp impressions. Both types of embossing folders are great for card fronts and accents!
In the video tutorial below, you'll discover how I label my embossing folders. I failed to mention in the video how I organize the embossing folders. I alphabetized my folders according to name and size. I use the Stamp-N-Storage Wafer-Die Storage as well as Emboss Folder Storage.
