A Great Open House!

I'd like to thank everybody who attended my Stampin' Up! New Catty Open House over the past weekend.  I really enjoyed visiting with so many wonderful ladies!  Thanks, again, for taking time to stop by, visit, and stamp with me.  I've included our Make & Take Projects and tasty treats enjoyed by all!

Make & Takes included this card using Betsy's Blossoms Stamp Set (wood # 126004, clear #126006) and Floral District Designer Paper (#126919).

The second Make & Take was a Christmas Gift Tag using Chock-Full of Cheer Stamp Set (wood #126715, clear #126717) and Be of Good Cheer Designer Paper (#126896)!  I just love the mittens in this set!

I used the Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps--Occasions (#127081) and a Lemon Shortbread Cookie Recipe.  I've included a photo and the recipe below!

Lemon Shortbread

1 cup butter

1/3 cup non hydrogenated margarine

2 cups icing sugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice 

1/3 teaspoon vanilla

3 cups flour

Cream butter and margarine in mixer, add in icing sugar slowly. Next add vanilla, and lemon juice, and finally flour.

Drop by small rounded scoop onto Silpat and then flatten with sugar covered cookie stamp.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.  I kept my bowl covered between batches to prevent dough drying out.

 

 I also made a Fruit Dessert Pizza

that's super easy to make and very yummy to eat!

Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps

 

Stampin' Up! has a sweet idea!  Announcing...Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps!  Just mix, stamp, and bake for a sweet Stampin' Up! treat!  With three adorable images--pumpkin, snowflake, and heart--its just in time for all the upcoming holidays!  I decided that I needed to give it a try, so I pulled out a cookie sheet, mixed the ingredients, and made a batch of pumpkin image sugar cookies!   

My First Batch of Stampin' Up! Sugar Cookies!

Super Easy!!

Stampin' Up! has provided two recipes

short bread and sugar cookie dough!

 (No need to "look" for a recipe!)

Step 1:  After mixing the dough, roll into a ball...

Step 2:  "Stamp" the desired image

(pumpkin, snowflake, or heart)

Step 3:  Bake and let cool

Step 4:  Package into Stampin' Up!'s Medium Cello Bags!  

Add a "Top Note" (Big Shot die) topper with your favorite designer Paper and ribbon!

Add a stamped tag and you'll be the envy of  your neighborhood or school!
