Good Morning Stampers! I just can't stay away from the Occasions Mini!! Everything is wonderful! Since I'm in need of a few Get Well Cards, I decided to try some of the new embellishments--Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding and Beveled Windowpanes--with the colors used below!
Today's inspiration came from one of our Leadership Make & Take cards. Do you remember me showing you this card? I absolutely LOVE these colors together--Baja Breeze, Old Olive, and Early Espresso!! So, this is how my card transpired.
Leadership Make & Take Card

Clearly For You Card Recipe
Stamp Sets: Clearly for You (wood mount #121911, clear mount #121976),
Ink: Versamark, Old Olive, Early Espresso
Paper: Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla
Embellishments: Pear Pizzazz (#122330), Linen Thread (#104199), Beveled Windowpanes (#121881)
Adhesives: SNAIL, Mini Glue Dots
Punches & Tools: Modern Label (#119849), Crimper (#101618)
Tips & Tidbits
- Use Versamark to stamp butterflies on the Baja Breeze card stock. Use Old Olive ink to stamp one butterfly onto Very Vanilla card stock, cut out, and adhere to Early Espresso stamped image.
- Use the Crimper to crinkle the bottom of the card.
- Thread the Pear Pizzazz seam binding through the slots on both sides of the beveled windowpane. Adhere Mini Glue Dots on each corner on the underside of the windowpane in order for the acrylic frame to stick to the stamped image.
- Use linen thread to tightly tie the seam binding. The acrylic frame looks and feels a bit heavy for the card, but once adhered, not so much!
I'm really pleased with how it turned out. My grandmother was injured this week. A handicap van lift hit her in the head! She's going to be fine, but she ended up in the hospital with stitches and staples to her head. She is badly bruised and sore, but thankfully, she is o-kay. This one's for you, Nanny! Feel better soon.
